Im 14, and i've been really serious about joining the Armed Forces. How do i talk to my parents and recruiters?

My best advice wait till your 17 a lot can happen from here till then you might change your mind. I know that at 13 you just want to have your life planned out as much as you can but there's only so much you can do. Keep doing good in school and exercise on a regular basis, that the most you can do right now. If your high school offers jrotc as an elective sign up for it even if its not army jrotc it will still give you a feel for it. When the time does.come to talk.to your parents be confident but also show 'em you did your homework. Know what benefits and downfall you are going to have. Personally my parents weren't too happy about it but after graduating bct they were extremely proud.
