Why do some people say time is an invention of mankind?

Uh, thing is, when people say that time is a construct of man, what they are actually talking about is exactly that - the fact that we have invented units of measurement. See, those measurements ONLY apply on earth. What is a year on Jupiter, when a "year" is defined as the amount of time it takes the earth to make one revolution around the sun? Its meaningless on Jupiter.
