Computer issue with defragmeting?

i need help . i cant properly defragment my computer. i can defrag it but it gets to about 21 or 22 % and sas Defragmentation is complete for: (C:) Some files on this volume could not be defragmented. what should i do ? this is a huge problem because it keeps getting slower and slower i would realy appreciate your help thank you!
