For new Macbook pro, should I upgrade to 8gb of ram?

I am looking to purchase the new Macbook Pro with 2.3ghz i5 processor and was wondering if I should upgrade to 8gb of ram or if I should just keep it at the 4gb. I will be looking to use parallels for sas for college but that is the only thing I would really be using the virtual machine for. I just want to know if the extra $180 is worth it. thanks
